Equipped with a dual gas and electric engine and an Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT), the impressive Highlander Hybrid covers an estimated 28 MPG City and Highway. This versatile SUV also comes with electric power steering and an electronically-controlled braking system with regenerative braking in order to reuse the energy lost when the vehicle stops.Toyota ingenuity makes its presence known along the Highlander Hybrid's exterior as well with features such as hybrid blue tinted headlights, chrome license plate garnish, and a sporty rear spoiler with LED stop lamp. The expansive 7-passenger interior is adorned with a variety of conveniences, such as second-row personal reading lamps, a center console with beverage holders and overhead storage, and a 3.5-inch multi-information display with a built-in back-up monitor.
